Longview woman succumbs to crash-related injuries

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - On 4-3-2011, Officers were dispatched to an Accident with Injuries in the 2900 Block of Fourth Street. 

Upon arrival they located two vehicles that had been involved in a head on collision. 

Officers determined that a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, driven by Jackquine Bell, 46 of Longview, was traveling South and crossed both lanes of traffic before traveling into the Northbound inside lane of Fourth Street and colliding with a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Miguel Rodriguez-Munoz of Longview. 

Both the drivers and the passengers were transported to area hospitals with injuries. 

On April 9, 2011, the passenger in the Munoz vehicle, 47 year-old Silvia Rodriguez-Munoz, died of injuries received in the crash. 

Bell has been charged with Driving Wrong Side of the Roadway- Not Passing, No Insurance and No Drivers License.

An Intoxication Manslaughter charge may also be filed pending the results of blood tests.
