Three More Human Cases of West Nile Virus

The West Nile Virus numbers continue to grow. Three more people in Smith County have been diagnosed with the disease.

This brings the total human cases in Smith County to six. People are urged to follow these rules to control mosquitoes which carry the virus: Stay inside during dusk and dawn. That's when mosquitoes are most active. Also, dress in long sleeves and pants when you're outside. Use insect repellants containing DEET.
