SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV)- A Smith County man says he was "jumped" by three men he was hanging out with Monday afternoon. According to authorities, the incident took place on County Road 150 in Smith County.
The man told authorities he became uneasy when a man wearing a pair of rubber gloves under work gloves sat down next to him with a sawed off shotgun. Authorities say the alleged victim told them the man accused him of being a snitch, told him to get undressed then hit him on the left of his head with the butt of the shotgun.
The man told sheriff's deputies the men took his medication, busted his cell phone and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
Authorities say they're waiting for the alleged victim to give them a description of the other men. Lt. Tony Dana of the Smith County Sheriff's Office says the case is still under investigation.
