TYLER, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas father accused of fracturing his infant daughter's skull has been indicted by a Smith County Grand Jury.
Saul Lino-Porcayo was indicted on an Injury to a Child charge last week for allegedly striking his 2-month-old daughter and fracturing her skull while in a drunken stupor back in December.
Porcayo initially told investigators his 13-month old was jumping on top of the 2-month old in her crib. He then told them he picked up the baby, tripped and dropped her.
He later admitted to striking the baby out of frustration while he was intoxicated.
He remains in jail on a half million dollar bond.
