MILLER GROVE, TX (KLTV) - A boy and his mother were transported to Hopkins County Memorial Hospital this morning after a one vehicle rollover accident involving a Hopkins County ambulance.
It happened on FM 275 north of Miller Grove shortly after 8:00 am. Initial reports indicate the ambulance was originally transporting the boy to the hospital because of complications from cerebral palsy.
According to a family member, the mother had to have ten staples put in her head and her back is broken in several places. She is being transported to a Tyler hospital.
The extent of injuries the child suffered from the wreck is unknown at this time. The relative says he is being transported to Children's Hospital in Dallas.
The paramedics on the ambulance were also taken to the hospital for what was described as minor injuries.
