OAHU, HAWAII (KLTV) - We have just learned from the Tyler Junior College that a group comprised of 124 belles, band, color guard, faculty, and alumni is currently staying in Hawaii on a Spring trip.

Apache Belle Artistic Director Christy Evans tells KLTV the group is in a beach side hotel where they have been moved up to the 7th floor after the warning of a possible tsunami heading toward the Hawaiian Islands.

The Apace Belles are there on a spring break trip where they are performing for military personnel stationed at the Marine Corps Base on Hawaii's Kaneohe Bay, located on the island of Oahu.

The Belles had planned to return Saturday but now they are unsure on if they will be able to return as planned.
