MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Molly's La Casita restaurant in Midtown advertises delicious Margaritas and Mexican food.  But Monday night, customer Bevarica Morgan hated his meal so much he decided to go to jail rather than pay his $5.95 tab.

According to Memphis police, after his waitress and the restaurant manager learned Morgan was unhappy with his order, they tried to fix the problem. But instead, Morgan stood up from his table, smashed his plate on the floor, and left the restaurant.

On his way out, Morgan is accused of elbowing the restaurant's manager twice in the head.  As he ran away, his waitress gave chase. According to investigators, he turned and yelled at her to stop, and then punched her with a closed fist.

Morgan only got a tenth of a mile away from Molly's before police captured him at the intersection of Diana and Trimble.

According to an affidavit of complaint, when officers asked Morgan to explain his actions, he said he not like his food, and refused to pay for it.  After the incident, a friend eventually paid for his meal.

Meanwhile, Morgan was changed with assault, theft of services and disorderly conduct.

He posted $250 bond and is out of jail.
