School Supplies Given To Low Income Families

Social services in Kilgore are helping kids from low-income families have a good first day of school. St Luke's Methodist church opened its doors this morning to help provide supplies to students from pre-k to 12-th grade.

This year Helping Hands, Kilgore Crisis Center and Presbyterian children's homes and services combined their efforts. Butt they're still needing donations.

If you'd like to help or to pick up supplies go to St. Luke's Methodist church at 401 East Main street in Kilgore on Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Parents need to bring proof of your child's enrollment in school.
