Rusk Co. needs your help identifying suspects

RUSK COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Rusk County Crime Stoppers and Rusk County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the citizens of Rusk County and surrounding areas asking for information in the identity of a subject responsible for the copper wire theft which occurred at the Crims Chapel Water Supply, located on County Road 238.

On January 11, 2011, at approximately 6:18pm, a subject gained entry of the water supply by climbing a fence that surrounded the building.  After entering the property the subject picked up some copper wire lying on the ground and threw it over the fence, then climbed back over the fence and left the area.  The copper wire was valued at approximately $500.

The subject responsible for the theft was caught on a camera provided by the Crims Chapel water supply; however, the identity of the subject is unknown.  Anyone that may know the identity of the subject in the photos should contact the Rusk County Crime Stoppers.

The Rusk County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1000 for any information leading to an arrest of the person responsible for the theft of this copper wire.
