School Supply Train's Final Stop

PATH's School Supply Train made its final stop in Tyler, Monday.  Pencils, rulers, notebook paper and much more were boxed up and ready to be loaded Monday morning.

Teachers from 47 different Smith County Schools were picking up school supplies for the children in their classes. PATH says they received more donations this year than ever before and that can make a big difference for the students.

"Some students come with a lot more than other and for those children to have school supplies from someone who loves and cares for them it shows love and care," says Crystal Cook, Griffin Elementary.

There was a first this year for PATH's School Supply Train drive. They were able to give each school at least three backpacks. All together more than 12,000 students look to path and their sponsors for school supplies.
