SMITH COUNTY, TEXAS (KLTV) - Inspectors found a list of violations at Smoothie King located at 4502 S. Broadway in Tyler, including a moldy ice machine, a dirty scoop, expired bottles of eggnog, and dented pineapples.
At least one hand-sink was inaccessible.
The inspector also noted the entire store needed a good cleaning. Total demerits: 25.
At Taco Bueno, the Old Bullard Road location, employees were seen violating hand washing rules. Ready-to-eat tacos were not being handled properly; cooked chicken was also found stored near raw beef.
Inspectors tallied up 22 demerits after finding a dirty microwave and several food containers that needed a good cleaning.
