TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A hearing date has been set for Jerdene Boyd.

Jerdene Boyd was charged with manslaughter back in September, after the car she was driving crashed into the back of Robert Bass's vehicle, killing him.

Before the crash, Boyd had been clocked on police radar, running speeds over 70 mph down S. Broadway Ave. and driving in a reckless manner on wet roadways through heavy traffic.

Investigators received lab results from East Texas Medical Center that indicated Boyd tested positive for the presence of Cocaine, Cannabinoids, and Opiates in her system.

Investigators also determined that Boyd has never been issued a Texas Drivers License and had no insurance.

Boyd's hearing date has been set for February 14, in the 241st District Court.
