TYLER, TX (KTLV) - A Robert E. Lee High School teacher was found dead inside his home, Saturday morning.
Tyler ISD Communications Director Angela Jenkins tells us Social Studies teacher Mark Chennault was in his early 40's. We're told it was his first year with the district. He started this past August. Tyler Police were called to Chennault's home for a death investigation.
An autopsy is pending, but police tell us it appears Chennault died from natural causes. The district says counselors will be on hand at Robert E. Lee High School on Monday.
