Second verse, same as the first.
The Regions Bank branch on Gentry Parkway was robbed Monday, in a style remarkably similar to the way the same branch was robbed in July.
At twelve-thirty Monday morning, police say a white male walked into the bank and gave the teller a note indicating it was a robbery, then escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. While police say the robber of a Regions Bank in Gresham was caught last month in North Carolina, that robber was never conclusively linked to the Gentry branch.
"We have never closed our case here," explains Tyler Police Officer Chris Moore. "We never confirmed for a fact that was the man. It's something we've looked at, this may or may not be the same person as the original robber here, but that's something that time and evidence will bear out."
Police say die to circumstances, surveillance video won't be any help in identifying this robber.
Tyler police describe the robber as a white male, around forty years old, 5'11" with a slim build. He was seen driving an early to mid-nineties blue 4-door car, possibly a GM model.
