TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Something old, something new, something borrowed, but nothing blue in the sky for one Tyler couple.
Saturday, Jordan Loy and Savanna English said their "I Do's" with the whole city watching.
While Jordan and his groomsmen were downtown getting everything right, across town, his fiance Savanna English was a busy bride-to-be.
According to Savanna, she never dreamed of an outdoor wedding, but the idea just felt right...."We were driving by on my way to work and we were still trying to figure things out and it looked like a great place to have it and we said, let's get married there."
So Jordan, an E.M.T dispatcher for East Texas Medical Center and Savanna, a dispatcher for the Tyler Police Department...two public servants...booked the very public square in downtown Tyler.
As far as they know, they are the first couple to do so.
The couple tells us they've been friends for 7 years and Jordan popped the question about a year ago. They say they are fairly new to Tyler and hope to spend the rest of their lives here, so why not start things off in the heart of the downtown square!
