One Man Dead And Officer Injured After Shoot-out

POLICE SAY IT WAS A DRUG TRANSACTION GONE WRONG.

SHORTLY AFTER 6 THIS EVENING, RESIDENTS AT "GRAND MANOR APARTMENTS," NORTH OF TEXAS COLLEGE IN TYLER, SAY THEY HEARD 6 TO 7 SHOTS RING OUT. ONE OF THOSE WAS FATAL.

JUST A FEW MINTES AGO TYLER POLICE CONFIRMED THE MAN KILLED IS 35 YEAR OLD TERENCE ARNESS RAIBON. 3 OTHER PEOPLE WERE INJURED IN THE INCIDENT.

THAT INCLUDES 2 CIVILIANS AND A TYLER BICYLCE POLICE OFFICER WHO WAS TRYING TO STOP THE ALLEGED DRUG TRANSACTION.

THE INJURED WERE BROUGHT TO EAST MEDICAL CENTER.

29 YEAR KENNETH GARDNER IS IN CRITICAL-BUT STABLE CONDITION.

HIS INJURIES ARE BELIEVED TO BE NON- LIFE THREATENING AND HE IS TALKING.

TWO CIVILIANS INJURED IN THE CROSSFIRE WERE BROUGHT HERE TO ETMC AS WELL.

THEIR INJURIES ARE NOT LIFE- THREATENING.

ONE SHOT IN THE LEG, ON SHOT IN THE HAND.

BACK AT THE SCENE OF THE SHOOTING, THERE WAS LOTS OF EMOTION AS WELL MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE FLOODED OUT OF THEIR HOMES TO SEE WHAT THE GUNFIRE WAS ABOUT.
