TYLER, TX (KLTV) -  According to a family entry on CaringBridge.org, Whitehouse athletic director and head football coach Randy McFarlin is making major strides in his recovery from a serious car accident.

A post stated, "Today, Dad can walk! Not far or fast, but walking all the same."

According to the site, McFarlin released from I.C.U. at E.T.M.C. in Tyler earlier this month.  He's now in the Rehab Center.

McFarland was seriously injured in a car accident in November with his wife, son and son's fiance.
