TYLER, TX (KLTV) - One person has been arrested after a police chase on Hwy 64 E., that ended in Chapel Hill.

The driver, Anthony Boyd, 42, of Athens, was driving erratically and failed to stop for police.

A Tyler Junior College Police Officer spotted Boyd on Fifth Street, weaving in-and-out of traffic, nearly striking a TJC police car.

The TJC officer called for assistance and began a six-mile pursuit, before a Smith County Sheriff Deputy was able to pull Boyd over.

The chase ended in front of Chapel Hill High School on Hwy 64 E.

Paramedics treated Boyd for unknown injuries at the scene.

Boyd was then handcuffed and transported to Smith County Jail.
