KILGORE, TX (KLTV) - Police still have no suspects in an overnight shooting that left an East Texas store clerk dead. The shooting happened at an adult video store on Industrial Avenue in Kilgore. Twenty-five year old, Renee Garrett, of Kilgore, deceased from a gunshot wound.

Police received a call from the Adult Video store manager saying that Renee called him about a questionable customer. Police arrived at the store too late, and found Garrett dead. Garrett's Aunt, Mary Isham, and other family members are in grief, and have a request for the murderer.

Isham said, "Why? Why did you do it? Please turn yourself in, it's the best thing to do, you didn't have to kill our baby."

Isham also mentioned that the Adult Video store did have cameras. However, they don't help much in this case. Isham said about police, " They said that whoever it was, knew where the cameras were, and they stayed out of view."

Police are still investigating the case. The Gregg County Video Corporation is giving a $10,000 dollar reward for information leading to an arrest, and Crime Stoppers are paying up to an additional $1,000.
