Teenager Accident Victim Laid To Rest

A Hallsville teenager, killed in a motorcycle accident last week, was laid to rest. 17 year old Caleb Jones died last Thursday. His sister was critically injured. The two crashed into a pick-up hauling lumber on highway 80.

Monday morning hundreds of Caleb's family and friends crowded Mobberly baptist church to say good-bye. Caleb had just graduated from Hallsville high school and had made the cheerleading team at Kilgore Jr. College.

During Monday's service Caleb's step father described him as a person who loved life. "We come here today to celebrate your life and to show our appreciation to you for the many lives that you have touched and the many lives that you've changed," says Mike Colswell.

Caleb's sister, Kayla, is still hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
