Pat Palmer and her family built Santa Land, located on I-20 at exit 557, fifteen years ago. They had seen a similar park in St Louis. When Santa Land opened in 1995 it became the first drive through Christmas Park in Texas, with others soon following.

Over three million lights illuminate toy soldiers, elves, angels, butterflies, footballs, oil wells and even tornadoes in the 24 acre light park. A lighted tunnel is a longtime favorite while nativity scenes remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.

Santa Land has been designed by the Palmer family for family Christmas time together. For many families, a visit to Santa Land has become an annual tradition. Although Santa Land is only open from November 1st through January 4th, keeping the park up and adding new displays is a year long job for the Palmer family.

Admission fees at Santa Land are $20 per car and $30 per commercial van.
