BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Lake Charles man is facing some serious federal charges, after allegedly taking over $1 million through food stamp fraud.
Vincent Edward Daprince is accused of 30 different counts of fraud.
He's been denied bail.
According to authorities, Daprince used a taco truck as a decoy and then traded food stamps credits for cash.
Federal investigators seized over $400,000 worth of cash and assets when Daprince was arrested.
