Longview Man Appeals Death Sentence

A Longview man has lost his death sentence appeal for his part in the notorious Spring Hill murders nearly 20 years ago.

52-year-old Alvin Andrew Kelly was arrested in 1990 and charged with the murders of a husband, his wife, and their 22-month old son at their Spring Hill home. The crime happened back in 1984. A New Orleans court of appeals has rejected Kelly's appeal of his death sentence.

An execution date has not yet been set.
