Robbery Suspect Caught in North Carolina

The FBI says the man who robbed a regions bank in Gresham last week has been arrested in North Carolina. But, there's a twist. They say their suspect is now on life support after trying to commit suicide in jail.

The FBI says they were able to connect Alfred Paul Paulson of Flint to the July 10th robbery in Gresham. He was arrested Wednesday in Washington, North Carolina in connection with a robbery of a bank in that state.

Several East Texas police agencies assisted the FBI it tying Paulson to the Gresham bank robbery.

Now they're working to see if he's the suspect they've been looking for in a Tyler Regions Bank robbery 3 days before the heist in Gresham. Paulson was arrested Wednesday in a hotel room with another suspect, named Andrea Webb. Police there say they were found with money and a gun.
