Released by Gregg County Courthouse:
LONGVIEW, TX - Christmas in Wonderland in downtown Longview, will be held this weekend on the courthouse lawn. It is open to the public, everything is free, rides, entertainment, refreshments etc.
There will be beautiful trees on the stage with old fashioned lamp poles and picket fences for a Victorian Christmas feel.
The trees will be red, white and silver adorned with giant pieces of old fashioned shaped candies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marilyn Monroe and Elvis will be strolling the grounds along with "talking" Christmas trees, "Ms Candy Cane", gold stars, elves and reindeer costumes!
Also Santa, Mrs Claus and Melody the clown will meet and greet the children.
Nascar kiddie ride, kiddie train, and 2 beautiful mules pulling wagons for a stroll thru downtown Lgv. This is for the adults as well.
Movies on the lawn, lots of crafts to make and letters for Santa for our North Pole mail box.
Local singers, dancers , African drums, jazz keyboard, ELVIS performs twice , entertainment each night, all night long 6 to 8: 30pm
The Rad Hatter from Dallas will make outlandish costume hats on Dec 10, 11. Participants add beads, feathers, trims, etc
