"Dancing Dames" Win National Competition

An East Texas dance group has won a national dance competition. The "Dancing Dames" are back from "Talent on Parade" in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The eight dancers range in age from 17 to 56. The group's mostly made up of beginners.

The team's director Kim Mullikin said, "Most of us are mothers, wives, and it is kind of a moment where you can spend time for yourself; and I think all women need that, even if it's just an hour a week."

This is the first year for "Dancing Dames" to dance as a team together.
