A little paint and body work, and Tyler Ford's 1965-Mustang is in top shape again. All it needs is an owner to go home with.
The car dealership will raffle the classic vehicle off next February. Until then, the classic will be on display at businesses around Tyler.
All proceeds from raffle sales will benefit East Texas Crisis Center. Lana Peacock, a center spokesperson, says monies raised could help the agency replace $85,000 lost in grant money this year.
Peacock says it's the first time a car has been donated in full by a sponsor. And because the company donated the Mustang in full, all raffle earnings will go directly to shelter needs.
