WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH (WOIO) - A 61-year-old man killed in a Willoughby Hills house fire, and his twin brother treated for minor injuries.
The fire started just before 7AM Thursday morning at a home on River Road.
The brothers - John and Tim Piccirillo - lived together. Tim was able to escape safely before firefighters arrived, but John was apparently trying to rescue the cat when he became trapped inside.
Multiple fire departments helped battle the blaze. When crews arrived, flames were shooting out of the house.
The cause of the deadly fire remains under investigation.
