LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Lufkin Police have arrested a nursing home worker for allegedly exposing himself to a 91-year-old resident and assaulting her when she refused to touch him.
Telesforo Vasquez III, 25, of Lufkin, is charged with injury to the elderly and attempted sexual assault.
According to the police report, the warrants were issued following an investigation into an incident that occurred Nov. 24 at Castle Pines Rehabilitation Center, located in the 2400 block of West Frank Avenue.
The investigation revealed that Vasquez exposed his genitals to a 91-year-old female resident of the facility and directed her to touch his genitals, according to the report. When the resident refused, Vasquez forced her down, causing injury to her hip and buttock area.
On Wednesday, police obtained a warrant for Vasquez's arrest. Police notified Vasquez of the warrant and he surrendered at the Angelina County Jail.
He is in jail on a $150,000 bond.
