CHICAGO (CNN) - An 18-year-old in Chicago says he was kicked off a flight for being too big.
Timothy White had a ticket to fly on Thanksgiving to visit family in Minnesota.
But Southwest Airlines said he was spilling into the seat next to him, so he'd have to buy another ticket.
White did not have enough money for a second seat and was forced off the plane.
"That's crazy to me because there was only 60 people on the flight, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't taking up nobody else's space. Let me sit at least by myself," he said.
Southwest is now apologizing, and the airline gave the teen credit for another flight. White had never flown before.
