Fugitive back in Harrison County Jail

An escaped inmate is back where he started today -- in a Harrison County Jail, after leading East Texas police on a wild chase that included shooting two officers, auto theft, and armed robbery.

52-year old David Allen Russell made his escape from a Marshall hospital, shooting deputy Judy Cadenhead in the leg and security guard Johnny Kornegay in the hand. He fled in a stolen car, later allegedly robbing a Luby's restaurant in Longview.

It was at Oak Hollow Apartments where police tackled him and took him into custody.  He is being held on 3-million dollars bond.
