Big changes are on the way for Thanksgiving...as strong cold front will move through East Texas during the day. Highs will occur ahead of the front from 70-75 degrees, then a rapid fall into the middle 40s by late afternoon.
There is also a small chance for strong thunderstorms along the front...but at this time, most of the strong to severe storms will remain to our north in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Saturday morning looks to be the coldest morning of the fall season with all areas dropping below freezing. In our colder locations temperatures could drop into the lower to middle 20s. By Saturday afternoon we will see a rapid rise in temperatures with highs approaching 60 degrees.
