It's a new place children without a home can call their own. In fact, it's very name is "A Place Called Home".
It's a three bedroom foster home sitting on an acre northwest of Tyler. The home is meant to be a long-term foster home, which foster parent Rueon Fletcher says is a change from the traditional foster home, or institution.
"[It's] to take children from zero to 12 years of age and to give them a home for an indefinite stay, so they don't have to go from place to place, home to home, and have a place where they can call home," Fletcher says.
Fletcher received help from several other organizations to get the home up and running.
