Medical fund set up for Van girl mauled by Pit Bull

VAN, TX (KLTV) - The family of Summer Rayne Adams has set up a medical fund to help with her medical costs.

Summer was mauled by a Pit Bull at the beginning of November and is still undergoing medical treatment. In August, her father lost his job and medical insurance for the family.

The fund has been set up at Mineola Community Bank, P.O. Box 248, Grand Saline, Texas, 75140. Contributions can be sent in care of 'The Summer Rayne Adams Medical Fund'.  For more information call (903) 962-4271.

The family is also hoping to hold fund raising events in the near future to help raise money for the medical costs.
