Police investigate credit union 'break in'; nothing stolen

Released by Tyler Police Department:

TYLER, TX - Telco Credit Union Vice President of Lending, Pam Morgan, said it appears that nothing was missing from the Credit Union that was broken into early Wednesday morning.

A representative for the company called police just after 5, Wednesday morning, saying that the business had been broken into sometime overnight.

Police arrived on the scene to find that someone tried to force their way in.

Police say they did receive a burglary alarm from the credit union around 4:30 Wednesday morning, but the alarm was canceled by the alarm company.

Ms. Morgan said she is not at liberty to release internal security procedures, so she cannot release the alarm company the credit union uses.
