FLINT, TX (KLTV) - The highlight of Veterans Day, celebrated this week, has been the showcasing of the "American Veterans Traveling Tribute", or "The Vietnam Wall" as it's usually called. While millions of Americans will never have the opportunity to visit the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, three traveling walls, owned by Don Allen of Flint, travel during the year to cities around the country.

Allen, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Army's Special Services", and a Vietnam War Veteran, headquarters in Flint. The Traveling Vietnam Wall, at 80 percent the largest replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, stretches over 380 feet long from end to end and contains all 58,253 names. Allen has also added a heroes tribute, 911 tribute, casualties of the Ft. Hood shooting and the Gold Dog Tag display of Iraq and Afghanistan casualties.
