Former Henderson County Officer Indicted Again

A former Henderson County narcotics investigator already charged with fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance is in trouble with the law again.

Bryan Ray Nutt has now been indicted on charges of retaliation against a public servant.

The 35-year-old former officer is accused of threatening to harm James Cook who investigated Nutt for allegedly obtaining prescriptions by fraud.

The 12-year veteran resigned from the Henderson County Sheriff's Department last December after the first indictment.
