NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches woman died Sunday afternoon after driving into another car on State Highway 7. The driver and passenger of the other car were sent to the hospital.
According to the DPS report, Teodora Ocon-Barraza, 25, was driving a 2007 Ford Expedition on Highway 7, a tenth of a mile east of County Road 641, at 2:50 p.m., eastbound when she crossed the center stripe and hit a westbound 2008 BMW 550, driven by Morgan Taylor McLeod, 16, of Montgomery.
Ocon-Barraz was pronounced dead at 4:15 p.m. at a Nacogodches hospital.
McLeod is listed in critical condition with broken bones at a Nacogdoches hospital. Her passenger, Kerri Ann McLeod, 42, of Montgomery, is also at a Nacogdoches hospital and listed in stable condition with an ankle fracture.
