Temporary polling places set up in Gregg County

LONGVIEW, TX - Some polling locations in Gregg County have been changed for today's elections.

Longview School District is in the middle of major reconstruction. Five buildings that are normally used for voting are either being rebuilt or have been built in another location.

So there are temporary polling places set up for the November 2, 2010 General Election.

The following polling places have changes:

Voting Precinct 2 has moved to Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church located at 2500 McCan Rd.

Voting Precinct 19 has moved to Saint Mark CME Church located at 1100 Sapphire St.

Voting Precinct 20 has moved to the Justice of Peace, Precinct 3 office at 2131 S. Eastman Rd.

Voting Precinct 21 has moved to Broughton Recreation Center at 801 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

Voting Precinct 22 has moved to the Boys and Girls Club at 610 Garfield Dr.

The list is also posted on the Gregg County web site www.co.gregg.tx.us.
