East Texas Crises Center Kicks off Fundraiser

Some local non-profits are feeling the affects of recent state budget cuts.

A spokesperson for the East Texas Crises Center says the cuts could greatly impact the center's ability to operate. The crisis center hopes funds raised during its current fund drive will ease the budget crunch. The center needs $350,000 dollars to meet its $500,000 goal. They hope to raise the remainder of their funding through private and corporate donations.
