Police searching for man involved in assault

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Tyler police are looking for a suspect behind an aggravated assault that happened this morning.

Officers were called to the area of Palmer and Arnold Street, where the victim says he was driving around looking for rental property when a verbal altercation happened with another motorist.

The suspect, described as a black male between 27 and 34 years of age, pulled out a semi automatic handgun and threatened him with it.

The suspect, then left the scene in a dark colored 2-door passenger car, traveling in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tyler Police Department at (903) 531-1000.
