Kid's Exercise Program Getting Kids Off The Couch

Move them off the couch and into the gym.

A personal trainer in Longview is keeping kids active. Toby Millikin, or "Mr. T" as he's called, is in charge of the "Kids Fit" classes. They use active games and races to energize the kids. Kids say they love playing the games but say the best thing about "Kids Fit" is meeting new friends. Toby says that's key because kids *will exercise as long as it's fun.

"The purpose of this is to get the kids active which will hopefully lead to a lifetime of activity," says Toby.

"If I did it by myself I wouldn't have that much fun but if other kids are there then I start having fun," says class participate, Jennilee Pelofske.

"Kids Fit" is held at the Parke Way Family Fitness center in Longview every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Class size is limited, so to make reservation you can call (903) 297-0090.
