JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The two people wanted for gunning down a man in a Wal-Mart parking lot in south Jackson were arrested Sunday morning. Twenty-one-year old Alan Palmer and 19 year-old Lee Corentin were both charged with capital murder.

Jackson Police Officer Colendula Green said Palmer and Corentin were arrested around 10:00 Sunday morning in the 700 block of Meadowview Cove in Byram. Twenty-year-old Bruce Davis Jr. was killed in the shooting that occurred outside of WalMart at Highway 18 and Greenway Drive Friday morning.

Authorities said Davis and his cousin met two other men in the parking lot. After a heated argument Davis was shot in the chest and died 30 minutes later at a nearby hospital. Officials said robbery may have been the motive.

Both are being held at the Hinds County Detention Center.
