Janie's Pound Cake Glaze

This is a quick and easy way to dress up a Plain Jane pound cake. We make the cake and you make the glaze!

1 tbs. Butter

2 c. Powder sugar

1/3 c. Boiling water

1/2 tsp. Vanilla

1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

For plain or chocolate glaze begin by combining butter with powdered sugar in a medium sized bowl. Blend well with an electric blender or whisk. Add vanilla and hot water and blend until smooth. Drizzle vanilla glaze over a whole Janie's Plain Jane Pound Cake or dip slices.

For chocolate glaze, place chocolate chips in a bowl and heat in the microwave until melted, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Add melted chocolate to vanilla glaze and blend well with a whisk or electric blender.
