MCKINNEY, TX (KLTV) - A pony who suffered from severely overgrown hooves has been adopted and is undergoing rehabilitation. Tony the Pony is with his new family.
They are using a rehabilitative farrier and even giving Tony chiropractic care. That is because his body was out of alignment with severe pelvic tilting. The Pegasus Project started Tony's rehab and placed him with this new home.
Last month he was rescued and found with feet so overgrown they were curled backwards.
The Pegasus Project says his body is starting to realign now and he is doing well.
