TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Released by the Tyler Police Department:

UPDATE 05:57 PM - Tyler Police say James Howard Marshall has been found. They say church members who had been alerted by family went by Mr. Marshall's residence and located him there.

TYLER, TX - The Tyler Police Department is actively searching for a missing senior citizen. James Howard Marshall is a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 5'7" tall and weighs 170 pounds. He is 83 years of age. He has been missing since around 3:15pm today.

Mr. Marshall and his family were at 2203 W. Martin Luther King (Caldwell Zoo) when Mr. Marshall became ill. He went back to their vehicle and apparently drove off. The vehicle Mr. Marshall is operating is a white 2004 Mazda Tribute. I have included a photograph of a 2004 Mazda for information purposes – this is not the vehicle Mr. Marshall is driving. The license plate number on the vehicle is Texas 652-SBR.

It is unknown where Mr. Marshall has gone. He is in relatively good health, but we need to locate him. Mr. Marshall and his family reside in Henderson County and a regional message has been sent out to all law enforcement agencies in the area.

As soon as we receive a photograph of Mr. Marshall, I will make that available. Any sightings of this vehicle or Mr. Marshall should be immediately reported to the Tyler Police Department at (903)531-1000 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
