LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman seems to have no injuries after she went airborne and rolled her car twice Friday afternoon on Ellen Trout Drive.
According to Lufkin Police Officer Eddie Ibarra, the driver, Beulah Robinson, 66, said she believes she blacked out while driving westbound in the outside lane, around 1:45 p.m. She veered off the road, hit a culvert, went airborne and flipped her 1999 Buick Century twice before stopping in front of Loggins Culinary.
Robinson suffered no visible injuries and was wearing her seatbelt. She was transported by ambulance to a Lufkin hospital as a precaution.
