Grant's Beer Battered Pepper Jack Burgers

Ground beef

Bacon bits

Dice onion ¼"

Shredded pepper jack cheddar cheese

1 12oz dark beer

2 cups of all purpose flour

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon garlic salt

½ cup of water

Beer Batter:

Mix your beer, flour, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, and water until smooth.

Take one diced onion and sauté until translucent.  Add your onion with 3oz of bacon bits to 2 pounds of ground beef.  Mix thoroughly.  Roll beef into 4 oz balls.  Place about an ounce of cheese into each meat ball and then press into a patty.  Grill these patties to medium then remove and cool.  Once cool coat in your beer batter and then fry in oil at 375 degrees until golden brown, or about 2 minutes.  Serve with mustard ketchup and mayonnaise and enjoy.
