Second Suspect Arrested in Connection to Winters Park Homicide

On Thursday, September 30, 2010 Tyler Police Investigators arrested a second suspect in connection to the Homicide of Ronnie Kemp that occurred in Winters Park.  The suspect is Amie Catherine Dean, B/F, 11/12/1991 of Tyler. Amie Dean is the daughter of Sharieff Hussein Dean who was arrested on Wednesday.  Amie Dean was charged with Capital Murder For Retaliation, her bond was set at $1,000,000 by Judge Skeen.

Investigators Arrest Suspect in Winters Park Homicide

On Wednesday, September 29, 2010 Tyler Police Investigators arrested Sharieff Hussein Dean pursuant to an arrest warrant for Capital Murder For Retaliation.

The arrest warrant was issued on September 29, 2010 by Smith County Judge Jack Skeen, Jr. The bond was set at $1,000,000 by Judge Skeen. This arrest is in connection with the murder of Ronnie "Goldie" Kemp at W.E. Winters, (Peach Park) that occurred on July 5, 2010. Investigators anticipate additional arrests in this case.

HOMICIDE

On the night of 07-05-10, Officers were dispatched to the Winters Park at 910 S. Peach Street in Tyler in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located the body of a Ronnie Dewayne Kemp, B/M, age 48, of Tyler in the park.

Investigators were called to the scene and the investigation is being treated as a homicide. The case is still under investigation at this time.
