Fall ‘Movies in the Park’ series continues Oct. 2

TYLER, TX - The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department continues the 2010 Fall Movies in the Park Series on Saturday, Oct. 2 with a free viewing of "The Blind Side" in the Bergfeld Park amphitheatre at 7:30 p.m.

This 2009 film is the remarkable true story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home. Michael was taken in by a wealthy family who helped him fulfill his potential as a person and as an athlete. He worked hard on the field and in the classroom and became an All-American in college and was picked in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, changing his life and the lives of the loving family who were there to watch him succeed. This film is rated PG-13.

Saturday, Dec. 11:
"Holiday Inn" at 6 p.m.
